Getting to the last few issues with my 1000DS and this time its the rear right indicator. Long story short there is no output on pin 6 of the cluster multi plug. The front right indicator is flashing (albeit too fast) and connecting the rear to this output does not change the flash rate. This rate would be an mot fail. Question is should I have the cluster repaired, and if so by who? or just re-wire the indicator system using a proprietary relay?

Spotted that post after posing my question. Inspired me to look again at the wiring and I've started open heart surgery to install a standard relay. Just popping out to Maplin for a double pole relay for the hazards and an LED for the idiot light. I have a hand drawn wiring diagram if that helps anyone else on here. Let you know how it goes!
Completed the wiring mods this morning whilst waiting for delivery of the 2 pin flasher relay. Plugged In the relay to new loom section and all worked first try!! Chuffed with that result. Now where has that rear brake lever gone? Not lost in the post I hope.
