Quick question I have a small leak at this inspection cover. Can I take it off without being flooded with oil? And would a small amount of liquid gasket and bolt it back on be a quick fix?
Although I have zero experience of 1199, I would say judging from the location near the cam cover that it would be fine to remove as the oil will all be in the sump. Reinstall with 3Bond gasket sealant.
Agree with above but if worried about potential oil leak just lean it over… I have done this with many bikes when playing with clutch covers and such when I needed a Quick Look.
