question for the folks that know, do you need 1 legal cover policy, on one motor policy, or one for each of your policies?
What do you mean by legal cover ? If you are referring to claims handling insurance that provides legal assistance in the event of a claim, in my experience not worth the paper their terms and conditions are written on. The rear of my car was struck as I was turning right because of the other driver's lack of attention and "my" solicitor advised that I would get no better than 50/50 and if I chose to go to court, I would have to fund it myself. The day before the court case his insurer capitulated and paid my costs. I've had 2 not my fault accidents in the last 10 years and the legal assistance has been of no help at all. That said the insurance was offered by my broker not the vehicle insurer. Andy
If your a union member you should have legal cover. I've a friend was really badly injured in a bike accident and his legal cover wouldn't fight his case , someone mentioned his union and their solicitors took it to the high court and won. He has a paralysed left arm. , spinal and various other injuries and also has the most beautiful rc45.its because of this I'm still a fire brigades union member.
