Any legal Eagles on here? Bought my daughter a Gilera 50cc back in August off a mate, my daughter wasn't 16 until 22/11/14 so it's been in garage locked and hasn't moved, it's taxed and MOT'd, she got her licence through on Monday swiftly followed by a letter from Motor Insurance bureaux in quite a threatening time dating the bikes not insured and she could be fined???? As of yet she hasn't done a CBT so bikes not on the road, So question is, does the scooter need to be insured if not on road and stored in a garage ????
Jeez they're so eager to snatch every bloomin penny. This country can be such a pain in certain situations.
