Insurance, anyone using Carol Nash? Good or Bad. I am paying to leave Bennetts, I am sick of them.. I need a multi bike policy.
I've got a Multi bike policy with Carole Nash with 4 bikes on it including two Ducati's, a classic Suzuki and a maxi scooter (stop tittering at the back). Cost was about £350 from memory with European breakdown cover. Just a tip but by making the Suzuki the main bike on the policy it was a bit cheaper and the excess on that is zero. I think the ruling for a classic is over 25 years. Never had a claim so can't comment on how they perform in that case.
I've used Carole Nash for the past 21 years and I have a multi bike policy. The only gripe I have with them is that every year when I receive the renewal notice I have to ring around a few people, get a better rate, ring Carole Nash and get them to better the rates I've just got.
That's a shame... El T but I've jumped ship now. It does annoy me when companies do it and seems quite common practice. I will have to check if it is auto renew. Almost need a PA to keep on top of all the non sense these days and so many caveats.
My CN policy doesn't auto renew. I certainly don't think the need to ring round to get the best deal is confined to Carole Nash. My theory is that all insurance companies are parasites and rely on those without the time or inclination to look for the best deal and just follow the easy path of renewing. It's the same with car, bike, house etc. etc. insurance.
I'm with MCE - last year for me was 450 to have my supermoto, rsv4 and z1000 on there this year the supermoto is coming off and the hyper going on but seeing as some fucking twat shunted the other half up the arse its now gone up to 650 even though it wasn't our fault...so they were good but now taking the piss...
I've been with CN for a few years now, always have to ring them to get a better price.Last year my car was beaten up by a bloody ram but they very quickly sorted me out and got an excellent repair.
