Isn't it sad that we are down to hoping and praying having dominated the sport for so long. Is Ducati about to become the Liverpool football team of WSB?
it's just that the competition have upped their game tremendously. it s the heaviest field in the history of WSBK. they are all there and electronics smoothens out the magic.. but it's good to read why the pani had to be made.
The MGP/WSBK debate over the carbon frame was interesting, tyres making all the difference between the very stiff bikes. Do you remember a train of discussion on here that the MGP bikes had stiff frames and almost no give in the tyres so when cranked over, there was so much less suspension effect and hence the chatter? I'm sure that's how it went? The discussion over riding styles was interesting, but surely it's up to the rider and his engineer to set the bike up for their riding style, good riders adapt or bully the bike to get the performance? Wasn't that Stoner's approach, that's why he was much admired by some? And before it starts please don't answer with a Stoner/Rossi retort.
