I bought some cheap led indicators and stuck them behind the vents getting rid of the external indicators, just needed a resistor on each to sort the flash rate. Passed the MOT no problem too
Didn't get a single response on here I see - I am looking for some brake lights to go in the vents of my 1098 too - day time mot so no lights, but a brake light would be good on the road. Could have been an option but I think I'll go for some that are inset deeper...
