Great photo, am I right in thinking that's as he'd be accelerating down Bray Hill shortly after the start/finish line? They're getting up a fair old speed by that point!
It is a great shot alright....i'm thinking its a still frame frame from video footage tho. I wonder if it makes Hutchy's personal album to show the grand kids. Its gotta of hurt tho, a bloody bee hit on the stretch panel of yer leathers, feels like you've been shot, when you have a wriggle on.
Pheasant in the face @ 60mph on my 400/4... NOT recommended.... Ran backwards and forwards across the road in front of me in a rabbit-stylee, before dissapearing into the hedge... thinking it had stopped jerking about I opened it up... BAM! Smashed my visor off and impacted the front of my AGV, nearly took my head off... not fun having a large Game bird smash you in the chops! Just glad I had my visor down or it would have broke my nose??! Turned around to get my visor before it got ran over, retrieved said visor - the lefthand mountings were broke but I clipped it on anyway, had to get to work! Lost said visor a few miles down the road after a lifesaver - rode to Bristol after work & got a new helmet, claimed for a new one off my Lid & Leathers insurance @ Carole Nash!
Lol! It should have... unfortunatly at the time I was working in a warehouse for a food company, didnt think they would have appreciated me sticking random roadkill on their coldroom... Had to lob it in the hedge - must have made a fox happy that night!
