Way back in 2017, when I was looking for my first Ducati I went to Ducati Coventry. I was initially very impressed. I went over, but I never received any contact on a trade in price, even after few phone calls. So I went elsewhere. When I came to change from one Ducati model to another I tried them again, but I didn't get any follow up. Just recently I'm very interested in the new V2 Streetfighter for early next year. I've emailed them twice and never received any responses. Disappointing,
I’ve always found them exceptional. Ring them and ask to speak to Craig. I suspect they get so many email enquiries it’s hard to keep up.
I have only used them for servicing and spares, and found them very good. As suggested, try phone, or take a trip down. Their (free) coffee is very good.
In 25 years I’ve not had much to complain about and after the closure of Worcester and Nottingham guess they’re pretty busy.. WhatsApp them on 07477 572743 and Craig will pick it up or Maria and Rick Hackett They have some exceptional bikes in the showroom this week..
Limited experience; one test ride and trade in discussion (they wouldn't take my MV, somewhat understandable). Service on my 1260 Mutley where the workshop identified a major mistake by the supplying dealer. They have a good reputation, one that I wouldn't contest.
I haven’t bought a bike from them but they have done all the servicing on my Desmosedici and are currently recommissioning it to get it back on the road after being laid up for a few years. Not cheap, but definitely amongst the very best of the official Ducati centres.
I took one of their old race bikes in to see if they could help with a glitch in the rev range. They greeted the bike like a long lost child and work is now underway to find a hybrid solution to a challenging problem. They are four hours from my home, but I am now a fan.
I purchased a bike which had the first 2 services done by them but they didn't update the online service history for the second service, I rang twice and each time they said they would sort it but never did. Didn't bother with them again and I never will. If they cannot be bothered then neither can I.
Have not purchased a bike from them but if the deal was right I certainly wouldn't hesitate to do so. My main experience is in servicing of a Multi 950s & a Multi V4s, the whole team are always friendly, courteous and very helpful. I would always recommend them.
I have never bought a bike from them. I will say that when I visited there years ago I was very welcomed and John Hackett made me a lovely cup of coffee
Took my track bike to them as I was under the impression they were the best from older reviews. Never again. Bike unloaded in Spain for track day. Loose bolts from bits they fitted. Specifically asked for whole bike to be checked over in preparation for first track trip of the year, replace fluids etc. nearly highside due to very perished seal on rad cap (which I think they should of picked up if they were checking the bike over) which caused coolant to leak on back wheel. Coolant was old and not even changed. Paid a lot for the privilege and service manager didn’t even offer an apology. Just my experience but I’ll never use them again. Shame as plenty others really rate them
As with any main dealer, there are satisfied customers and there are unsatisfied customers. Coventry does seem to have its fair share of both. Andy
I have never been there BUT . . . . I bought my ST3 from a guy in Coventry and he bought the bike new from Ducati Coventry. Relevance Usefulness
As Andy says, plenty have good to say, plenty the opposite for various reasons. Non return of calls seems a common one, but not isolated to them tho. They live off an old racing rep and do have fantastic workshop facilities that they know how to charge for.
Things have changed a lot the last couple of years with a number of personnel changes in the sales and service side, all aimed at improving the service levels, Ryan in sales is excellent, their Ops Director is a real stickler for service levels and has driven a number of backroom changes all for the good.
I have been using them for parts for my 996 project, always been very helpful, apart from once, I was told they were open on Good Friday, for me to collect some parts, when I got there, they were closed, left a negative review on Google, a few days later, had a phonecall from Mr John Hackett, apologising for the miscommunication, and offered to post out the parts for free (they were only cheap parts, about £5 total) Not bought a Bike from them (yet) The fact that there owner took the time to call me and apologise, means a lot Oh, and as @Geoffrey Lebowski said, the free coffee/chocolate drinks are superb
