He has a mate who will bid it up last minute, then the mate will cancel the deal thru ebay saying not as expecetd. No selling costs just listing fees.
I thought that this morning at 08:30 when it was £3000 - there's this one as well, no reserve also. It's the time to buy folks !! 2009 DUCATI 1198S RED TERMIGNONI'S LOW MILES PRISTINE EXAMPLE 0.99P NO RESERVE | eBay
thats why i bought my Tricolore last week! there are some bargains out there at the moment. i love those slash cut cans, much prettier than the regular termis.
The Panigale previously registered overseas?Hope it comes with some good service history.I don't believe in bargains-you normally get what you pay for.Or am I to cynical in my old age.Everybody an honest Jo-I think not.
Excellent feedback, if I was in the market for one, I'd bid. If you turn up and it's not what you expect, or it has a story attached, don't buy it, easy really.
Was a scam.(Hacked ebay account according to ebay) Mate contacted guy saying if the sale didn't go through he would buy it for £12k. Seller contacted him within the hour via text saying ok. PROBLEM was, Said bike and him were in scotland and pickup wasnt an option as he was so hard to get to(lol) BUT, Said wanted mate to pay the money into an ebay holding account(known scam, check google) and he would arrange free delivery and ebay would keep the money until bike arrived and mate was happy with it. Mate said no chance, he will only buy if can pickup and being a wagon driver he said no problem picking up. Seller/scammer said not willing to do that. Total Scam. Hopefully the winning bidder didn't get sucked into the scam.
Well, as usual with life. If something appears too good to be true, then it usually is. Reminds me of a friend of mine who tried to buy an MV AGusta SPR with 0 miles on it a few years back. The guy wanted him to transfer the money to his bank account or send a bankers draft to him. Only after having cleared funds would he be able to view the bike. My friend said that he would take the cash to buy the bike. The seller sent a text back, saying the bike was no longer available as he was divorcing his wife and she had set fire to it  I wonder if anybody actually gets suckered into these things?
Sames happening on autotrader - accounts being hacked and price / phone numbers being changed Fuckers
I want to sell my bike .......but im in Nigeria sorting out the bank account of a business man who died worth 10million dollars and I need someone to help move the monies into their bank account.
ANDDDD The Scam/Scammer is Back(Have just reported to Ebay) 2012 DUCATI 1199 PANIGALE TRICOLORE MULTI-COLOURED | eBay
If you're going to try and pull a scam a least try and be convincing and ask for something that makes it sound like a realistic bargain such as 15-16k. Anyone with half a brain knows a Pani Tric at 8k is bullshit....don't they!? Well done for reporting it. I sure ebay will remove it eventually after numerous people have been stitched up!:frown:
"I had this bike fully specd from new. " how exactly?!?! It's a standard Tric right? At least the English is decent in this ad, unlike a lot of the scammers:tongue:
And scammers back YET Again, Reported YET again. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-DUCATI-1199-PANIGALE-TRICOLORE-/171195680984?pt=UK_Motorcycles&hash=item27dc0ec8d8
