Have a pair of Spider front axle sliders in my stash, having had them fitted to my Panigale V4, my 1st generation Multistradas and a 937 Monster. Thought they’d be ideal for my Pikes Peak but the inner diameter of the end with the axle nut appears to be approximately 2mm diameter bigger than the slider. Cross checked the axle sliders from R&G and Evotech and they don’t seem to differentiate between models although their products are bolt through rather than an interference fit. Anyone else tried to use the Spider sliders ? Andy
Digging around in my “used” stash, I found a Rizoma by Ducati front slider for a Panigale V4 and the slider fits over the nut, not in the axle, like the R&G/Evotech versions. Also found an old R&G front slider which R&G says fits the Multistrada 1200/1260/V2/V4 but the nut end slider is very loose, just like the Spider. Looks like I need to get my bodgers hat on and marry the Rizoma sliders with the R&G threaded rod Andy
