I don't remember seeing this gap before. I have just washed, cleaned chain and taken for a 2 min dry off. When I lubed the chain this gap was visible. Is it ok?
In fairness to the usual standard of manufacture by those keen eyed Italian masters of their trade, it's highly plausible they managed to cock two up God bless those little scamps
I’ve never known a socket carrier to not go all the way in. That gap is big enough to get dirt/grit in to start eating things.
There’s a spacer sitting between the carrier bearings and wheel bearing. Doesn’t look too out of kilter tbh. Check the axle nut torque. It’s that that pulls the assembly together
