Is This Normal.

  1. I know it is quite normal to have bike bits/parts in the garage and shed.I also have bike items in the kitchen, spare bedroom,my wardrobe, shelves in bedroom, and a complete set of new bodywork in the loft. Most of the bits scattered round the house are for my old British bikes and range from a competition magneto to petrol taps.
    Is this normal?

  2. it is for me,thats why i'am gonna build a 996 from all the parts i have,engine included :)

  3. Not normal for me, I just have whole bikes in the house.

  4. That made me smile.

  5. I do draw the line and try and keep it in the garage - otherwise the kids start complaining

  6. It depends on your long-haired general indulgency , as Christmas miracle happened to myself my SWMBO helped with that

  8. im afraid i keep mine in the garage, guess its easier to get out and ride :upyeah:

all parts come via the house normally and then onto the bike, the cast offs sit in the garage before going on ebay when i can be assed

  9. Totally normal Mervyn, apart from the two in the garage I have a 916 and 998 in the living room (which is also my workshop at servicing time) along with a TZ350 stripped to the last nut and bolt spread around the room and on the dining table which I have never eaten off. I also have sundry parts upstairs in the back bedroom. Relax everything is ok.

  10. Thank goodness for that.

  11. And I get a bollocking for leaving my shoes in the wrong place!

  12. When I had the panels off for a few weeks they were in the house, otherwise it's all in the garage. Only because I get shouted at otherwise
