A key supplier in the states has said that a key that is cloned form a red key only will have black key functionality? Isn't that all I need? Well then someone to clone it? Thx Andy
I was told the same, when I had my 999s I only had two black keys and the codecard, Ducati told me that the red key is only needed if you need to code/create new black ones...... but I'm good at not losing keys so it was ok :smiley:
That that quote goes with my first post thx!!! Ok then, the cheapest transponder key in the uk for say currently is 4k away in America, hows that?! So I'm of to buy two new keys and get them coded cheers frazzle!
Having just said that I think you also need the red key to reprogram the ECU, but if you're just after coding black keys then with the red key you're good to go...
