  2. yep although i have only used them once for a major service i am returning cos i get a warm fuzzy feeling knowing they are taking care of my bike regardless the fact that it is a 12 year old 996 and not the latest tech..

the only drama is they are so busy that i can't get the service done until near end april....i have closer dealer but prefer JHP

top marks from my very limited exposure thus far

  3. oh and the trouble with going to them is that they have a jhp special for sale...talk about temptation..lucky it is a track bike and not road going (well lucky for the wife ha ha)

  7. I 2nd those comments.

They couldnt do enough for me when I bought my Monster. Theyre not local to me (at the moment) but Ill be making an annual journey there for servicing. :upyeah:

  8. Huge thumbs up and thanks to John the service manager at Ducati Coventry. The D16 went in for a service (the last free one), MOT and I wanted the road pipes swapped for the open pipe kit that came with the bike. When it came back, not only had they done their usual excellent job, but they only charged me for the MOT. John did the pipe swap and tuning himself with no charge. Now that's good customer service !! Oh, and on top of that fitted a new front tyre I supplied and collected/returned the bike by van. Grand total for all the above £60.

  9. They are great people to deal with, had a few early problems with the Multistrada; all quickly sorted.

  10. I live in south wales and have tried all the local dealers. I now travel up to JHP and get amazing service every time.:upyeah: They also did a very good deal on a new 796 monster last week for my wife.

  11. So you'd rate them over Riders Phillipo? I'm in S Wales as well and was going to use Riders for my next service.

  12. Without going into to much detail but I've bought four bikes from cardiff and I've had bad experiences with the service department every time. Ducati coventry/JHP are light years ahead on there service and there prices are cheaper too. The only downer is the traveling but if you can wait they will even pick your bike up and drop it back.

  13. That's so funny, great piece of irony there Tripletrouble, very good!!

  14. I've been using JHP for 10 years now....never had any problems at all....wouldn't trust anybody else with my pride & joy!! When I wrote my Bayliss rep off last year John Burrows was one of the main reasons I got a reasonable price for it!!! What those boys don't know.....ain't worth knowing!!!

  15. Had my 1098 in for a 12mth service at Coventry a couple of weeks back, when I booked it in JB offered to do it while I waited which I took him up on. Couple of hours and it was all done (properly :upyeah:) and I was on my way back home. 200 mile round trip but I consider it well worth while for the peace of mind.

  16. @hughdg

mate when did you book your bike in ? I can't believe it was turned around that quickly!!! They have had mine for 2 months and that is taking the piss

  17. I unfortunately had need to buy some bodywork recently and a few other parts and got them from Coventry.

Wont go into details but a little bit of confusion meant that they replaced an expensive part at their expense with no grief and no argument.

Excellent, well pleased and the bike is back on the road now.

  18. all this is very reassuring for me. I'm talking to John about dyno'ing my bike. He has the software and leads for my ecu and has experience with this kit.
