  1. This is no bad thing. He’s had his time, and crucially the difference between him and joey is that joey was consistently at the front right until the end, tbh he probably had a bit in reserve for a few years before that.

I think John will be lucky to get into the top 10 this year, and then he’ll retire. Hickman, and Harrison have just raised the bar so much, even people like James hillier and Lee Johnston have been quite open about these guys being on another level, and Dunlop, well, he just rides like it’s a short circuit, he’s unbelievably on the limit

  2. The cock nearly side swiped my lorry a while back, in this american awful looking motorhome. Blew me a kiss as I was cussing him off the stupid fuckface. My airhorns woke the numptie up'

It would be good if one of the older riders stayed around instead of dying & could present youth with some semblence of longevity & knowing when enough is enough. But I personally don't like the fella as a person, as a rider he's a legend!

  3. They all ride short circuit . They admit they have to . The days of waiting 8 miles for the tires are up to temp are long gone. What a video of them at Bray first lap . Deano especially.
    Jesus.

MD is way less aggressive than he used to be .

  4. I hope he continues to be as I’d hate for him to come a cropper

  5. I agree, he's probably not feeling like he has as much to prove now he's done some winning

  6. ....and losing. Not talking races here

They're all legends in my book, don't need to like them all (Hutchy my favourite - please stop) but massive respect to anyone who competes, or even has a go at IoM TT/road racing.

  7. I think it would be right for mcpint to call it a day.

He moved the goalpost on in his day. MD moved the goalpost when he were at the top. Hicky and Harrison have done what so many others have done before, they've moved it on again.

Joey moved it on back in his day too.

I think mcguiness has his head screwed on enough to know that he's not gonna trouble the latest top lads, he'll ride, he'll enjoy it and we'll enjoy watching the swansong.
