No, not at all. I’m a long time 1200 Multistrada owner, coming up 10 years. I rode the V4 Multistrada the other day when I took my girlfriend’s Icon down for a belt service. The bike is hugely capable but if you previously rode a 1200/1260, I can see why some were left unimpressed. The V4 is a brilliant bike and anyone who says they can’t ride it quickly is blowing smoke, however you have to ride the V4 very differently and IMO, that is the issue. As a new rider, you see the brilliance, not the compromises. I hope you enjoy it. Andy
