Hey there. I'm waiting for my 899, and looking to find ways to fit soft luggage for my annual trip to the Isle of Man. Also want to know about good insurance deals - if anyone has any tips on either I'd be most grateful.
Yes - the Fort Bill to Mallaig road out West is just amazing - and my journey to work! Some tight turns, and the winter has been less than kind in terms of pothole erosion, but lots of shellgripped corners and Lord of the Rings/Harry Potter/James Bond scenery. Rooms and food at the Arisaig Hotel are good, too...
I was up your neck of the woods in September. Wasn't on the bike unfortunately but at least the hire car was Italian and red.
duror, south of ballachulish on the oban road. up you way alot, friends of mine ran the old library restaurant in arisaig book keeper lives up that way to.
It was actually quite good fun, thrashing the arse off it on the lovely roads that you have up there.
