Jumped Ship - 10 Years Of Ducati Over To Triumph

Discussion in 'Other Bikes' started by Nc35, May 17, 2015.

  1. Don't know if I am sad or not. Finally chopped the Duke in for a Triumph Street Triple R.
So much easier to ride at every speed especially commuting.
Just not quite as special as an Italian Thoroughbred.

  3. Well, it is more of a commuter bike :D

Still - if that's what you need...

  4. Should have added came from a Monster. Back to back test rides with a monster at Cobb & Jagger. Dunno what Audi are doing to Ducati.

  5. And he has a German Wheelie Bin :Wideyed:

  6. Yep the Ducatis never let me down once. Don't think they deserve the bad press.
Bought my first one as a dream bike. Fell for the looks of the 916 & 996 with the sound of the dry clutch and Termis.
But never fell in love. Hydrolic clutch is literaly a pain. For me the big V twin was an uncompromising brute unless you were giving it the beans.
Give it a few years and I will be back. Did toy with the idea of a multistrada.

  7. Didn't think you could see the wheelie bins just out of shot.
