Pleased to say I have just bought my first Ducati after years of riding Japanese in line fours. Really impressed with the bike and the way it pulls is amazing. It's got a couple of bits added already, Superleggera graphics, DP rearsets, DP Carbon heel guards, DP Race seat and DP tailtidy. I've got a few plans for it myself, termi / carbon etc but really can't see what else I would want to do with it. Well chuffed to have an Italian bike tucked up in the garage
Very nice - loving the graphics, where did you source from, is that decal or transfer (or other) and did you fit yourself or get specialist to apply. Be interested to know more as I would be keen to do something similar to my 899.
Beautiful bike congrats Op said in the post that it already had them fitted but I have seen loads on ebay, don't know about the quality mind you ?
Thanks all Yes the decals were already on the bike when I bought it. The previous owner had them fitted by Ducati Manchester. Not sure if they supplied them also.
Yep, full Termi system should be here by the end of the week. The upmap is included, is that the same as an ECU remap?
Not quite, the up map is a generic map to suit bike and pipes but it is generic so it may be a small percentage out running slightly lean or rich as it was not set up on your exact bike. If you get the bike on a dyno and ecu remap it is bespoke for your bike and will have it spot on
Just a quick note....... not certain, but I got a bollocking from my dealer for getting my bike dyno'ed on a dyno without a front wheel rotor. Seems that it f@cks up the ecu and goes into some sort of limp-home mode that's then got to be sorted out on the lap-top. Didn't charge me for my stupidity so guess it's not a make-work fib ?
