  1. Hi guys

Just become the proud new owner of a 1200s is there any recommendations of things to do to them?

    Thanks in advance Dan

  2. Glue the Ducati lettering down, apparently? :)

  3. Add fuel, do miles, replace the tires once they've worn out. Maybe a 42t rear sprocket and a new chain (original is shite!)
    :upyeah:

  10. Lower a tooth on front sprocket or add 2-3 on back. New seat.

  13. The hand protectors/indicators are made of cheese. Suggest you look at some decent bar end protectors like barkbusters or something similar.

  14. Don't panic about the chain ! I've not heard of any snapping on the dvt.
I changed mine at 12k miles and it was fine.

  16. Low screen. I'm 5/10, Arai lids, textiles, fat. The lower the screen, the less buffeting I get around the chest up to me chins.

  19. Possibly.......But when one came close to ripping my leg off, absolutely trashed my swing arm, crank cases and chain guard on the way out, I reckon for 130 quid, its getting changed at next months service !! *DramaqueenEmoji* :upyeah:

  20. I changed mine simply because I was sick of it looking like I didn't maintain it, it goes rust-red at the merest whiff of moisture. Ok it stretched a little at 4k miles but no more than usual. Purely aesthetic :)
