Phew - that was a fun ride back from Chris. Just off the dyno with the air filter kit and front section fitted....I think the results speak for themselves! Previously it was dyno'd at 88 and 70ft lbs....yey me! But, after its MOT tomorrow its going but im staying in the fold with the "hopeful" acquisition of a SF1098S.....see what happens...
Not far atall and, i was asking him as the first thing i do with the sf (should i get it) is take it to chris....i asked him his workload and hes quiet at the moment so you should be able to get a slot quickly....txt him...i only spoke to him last wednesday...
Its a trek n half to get there 150 miles or so. Not sure why you spent out on bike if getting rid of it, I'd have saved the money and spent it on the SF Spoke to moto rapido the guy there does the BSB bikes
well. I did take the opportunity to aqcuire a stock ecu which hes done, so, ive got the old dyno'd ecu which im selling, pre air filters and front pipes so id someones got the same set up....plug in, will go like fuck....nice and easy upgrade... The other thing (and this might be a bit old fashioned) but i wanted it to be in absolute perfect working order and didnt want to give it away anything short of pristine condition.
That's really commendable, but could have got a minimal service done. It has an MOT so therefore roadworthy not that an MOT is worth the paper it is written on if you rad the small print.
Mot runs out at the end of the month, im getting it done tomorrow....! As i said.....ill be happy knowing it left me in good nick and will have a clear conscience.
Well. In the last couple of years ive lost friends to illnesses and even my own father last year which was unexpected....so i thought fuck it....if i want something and i can finance it or afford it then i will....stuck the rsv on the mortgage account!.....recently one of my mates went out for a curry...stomach ache....thought nothing of it....bowel cancer....but luckily they got it....
Shit me, I know that feeling was diagnosed at 29 with the C but caught early and still here kicking n screaming hence now 3 Ducs in the garage
lost my dad last year to leukemia....had the stem cell which worked...i thought we were on the home straight....he was out in the garden fixing the fence....two weeks later he was gone from an infection while his immune system was down...not this xmas but last xmas we were on our way home from a relatives house the day after boxing day, may mate phoned, who was at the hospital with another friend i hadnt spoken to for a couple of months....he got a headache on the monday, felt rough the wednesday and they switched off the life support the friday...gone in a week from meningitis...so now, my outlook on life has changed somewhat....
Yep...i think you could say that from first hand experience....6 years ago sliced my wrist open....simple diy project....surgeons call it a full house when you go through everything...lost a fair bit of the red stuff that day....we had 2 children at that point and always talked about a third...we now have 3!
Some people will do anything just to get sex. But seriously that looks very nasty, glad they patched you up ok. Still gives you grief I bet.
Yep chicks dig scars....my handy work is the bit through the middle....the rest is what the surgeons did to tie it all back together again...20% feeling in my thumb and first 2 fingers and about 80% in the other 2....cut it open on a flu liner....razor blade slinky...its not as good in the cold weather...
I say this with utter respect and such, but ... man, that is fucked up! Makes my handy issues seem very tame in comparison. I'm glad you still have useful function in your digits.
I dont think ive ever felt more pain than an open nerve....doc said...."i need to open that dressing to see what youve done....and heres a big of wood to bite down on...." i passed out with the pain after screaming the place down....wife could hear me outside....yep...knives and sharp stuff make me go a bit weak.....
