Hi Folks, Just joined the forum and look forward to the interaction. I am a 999 fan - I like the look! I am very lucky to have a 999r sitting in the house and its for my son (3) when he is 21 (if he wants it and I hope he does and if the Irish economy does not force me to sell it!). I had an accident off a horse 2years back and broke my back so I decided to park the bike up then. All good now though but I decided to leave it parked up as it is too beautiful to filthy on our rubbish roads - A waste i know....After a long search, I am back on the road with an 06 999s with small miles and at the right money. Happy out now! Bring on the summer - for at least 2 days in Ireland. With regards Garret
Hi and welcome And there I am worrying about getting back out there after fracturing my shoulder !! Enjoy
Hello and welcome to the site. Blooming horses, I have a lot to do with them as my family is big into them. My friend Alison has over the years broken her jaw, her wrist, her collar bone, both legs (one twice) and her skull all in different horse accidents over the last 35 years. That's what comes of working with the tricky buggers, personally I find bikes much easier, but my youngest boy loves the horses so I still end up riding three times a week. Good luck with the new bike I hope you enjoy it.
Many thanks....Anything with pointy velvet ears are to be avoided all right. The bike is safer. Alison should consider bike racing! Rgds G
Welcome aboard.... When I had an accident last year the nice lady in A&E told me there are two things more dangerous than motorbikes.... Horses and trampolines... Or was it a horse on a trampoline.... Maybe it was just the morphine....
Welcome. I really want to keep my 1098s by the telly in the living room, but you should have seen the look my girlfriend gave me Jeez, not going to mention that again
Nah, Sarah is a keeper. She is one truly amazing woman. Sorry to go all soft on ya That sounds worse than it was meant to
