hi hall just ordered a new 848 sf i had a 2013 multistrada but fancyed a change anyone used the tune ecu to remap one of these i used it on my triumph tiger 1050 with great results thanks jimmy
Hello and welcome to the mad house jimmy Ask your questions in the dedicated areas as it can get lost in the banter around here Watch out for the locals they will be along shortly no doubt Enjoy
CJS all the way for a remap....just got my hyper back on Monday.....this is with race headers, termi twin tail, and airfilters...no extra boxes fitted. the previous reading was with just the tailpipe and drilled airbox and decat...
itll cost you 425 for an initial map - it sounds expensive but if you factor in the fact that when youre not spending money on a pcv and paying him for his expertise then its definitely worth it. I was there on Monday and he's pretty quiet at the moment so you could probably get in there the same week...if you need a remap after that then its 325 from there on. Believe me, its the best money youll ever spend on it!
Ah - well then.....make all your engine mods you plan to do first, then take it to chris, otherwise youll have to cough up each time you say, change the exhaust system/airbox/airfilters etc etc...
what are the best mods to do on these i dont no much about the 848 on saw one for the first time last sat in my local dealers read up on it then ordered it traded my 2013 multistrada in for it
Open clutch basket - no, wait, you can put it on but youll get oil all over your foot and itll seize up - scrub that... Seriously - full system - some sort of airbox mod (I had a hyper so that's what I did) cant say for the 848...and that's about it for initial noise and punch! you can go to top end tuning but its not really worth it...
cheers mate i better save for a exhaust thought about decating the standered exhaust for now they do a kit with bigger bore to go inside the standard cans and remove the cats
