1199 Just Placed My Order

  1. After riding the 899 and then the 1199 I've just ordered a 64 plate 1199.

  4. Congrats. Choice is down to personal taste I guess. After trying both and the fireblade, I went with the 899.

  5. I've been racing a Fireblade for the last three years. The 899 was just lacking a little grunt for me. Hence the big boy :)

  6. Why does everyone think the 1199 is too powerful ? Mines a pussycat compared to my 1098s
    Far easier to ride imho

  11. I agree its an easy bike to ride. I'm not so sure it's a easy bike to its potential.

  12. The top end is lairy !
    But then again it's got more snot than the Gp bikes of not long ago !!!
    The S1000rr is easier to ride but not as full filling ;)

  13. I didn't think the 1199 was intimidating but I did think the VTEC like top end isn't the most progressive, not that I got there much

  16. Congratulations on the order. Picking mine up on the 1st as well after trading in the 2012 one last week. I'm missing having her around already.
