Hi,, since the days of cut off denim are long gone i am in need if some good leathers for myself ( and GF ) i have been looking at some of the stuff available and dont like most of it,, don't like flashy colours all over or to be advertising some brand name, or to be looking like a half eaten pizza !!,, i really want some thing black with a little dark blue or dark red , to match Dic colours , but not finding anything,, but i have found a very nice all black one piece in Kangaroo skin, made by Wolf, question is, is Kangaroo skin any good,, it is not new but unused and still in wrapings,, £300 asking price,,,,,,, any body any knowledge of these.. R
I hope you meant Duc colours. Throbbing purple would be awful on leathers. Try Kushitani for suppletly. Lovely stuff. Dainese is also a bit more tasteful. Other than that Furygan. I find all other makes are not as well designed but thats subjective. If I was replacing my leathers now, i'd look at Kushitani. You have to try to look as nice on the bike as the bike itself. Bit poncey maybe but once a mod always a mod.
It will all be in the tanning process. Arlon Ness have been using kangaroo skin for their top quality suits for years. Your most important choice should be the thickness of the leather in the high wear areas should god forbid you end up sliding down the road. IMO I'd spend as much as I could reasonably afford and whilst there are bargains to be had, you only get what you pay for. That said Wolf make decent suits and if it fits £300 isn't much for an established name. Andy

it is ( thickness ) .8 - 1.1 kang and 1.1 - 1.3 cow hide,, armour shoulder elbow and knees, Kevlar stretch panels, double stitch etc,,, does look the bizzz,,, 300 asking , at this time of year prob go for good bit less,,
Hope they don't make you hopping mad lol lol. I have tried a Wolf suit on made of Kangaroo skin its reaaly more supple than leather but just as tough. I hade Richa gloves and the palms were in Kangaroo and they felt really nice. Tie me Kangaroo down sport........... so was Rolf into bestiality too?

The only thing I wil say is about how they fit though and not just kangaroo suits I mean leathers in general 1 piece or 2 piece. I have tried several manufacturers suits on and have settled on Furygan (cow hide leather) as they fit all round, others seem to fit ok but are always baggy round the arse area not a good look.
LOL its all down to your body build, mine suits Furygan better or vice versa. You need to go down to a shop that stocks several manufacturers and try them on. Mine are Furygan FRS Prime I also have a set of RST trac tech Evo, splash of red on them had to get the arse taken in though.
