Another question for the cognoscenti... The 2009 1100s hyper I'm looking at has only one (black) key, and no paperwork at all, so no Ducati registration card or whatever (obviously it has the dvla registration log book etc). I might be mad thinking about it, but it's a clean bike, I've been able to work out some of the history, and there aren't many of these around here. What are the prospects of getting a spare key with an immo chip etc? I sense it'll be complicated/expensive, if at all possible...
If you have a decent locksmith on the Island they should be able to reproduce a transponder key for you from the one you have.
