Thought I would start a thread with quotes from your kids as my nipper comes out with some corkers....he is 9! Driving along a country road at the weekend and saw two chickens at the side of the road I said ooh chickens shall we have a roast chicken for dinner! My lad says no mum we can't you've got mince out for tea!
I can never remember the great quotes they come out with, but last weekend I took my daughter (10) on the SS to the shops in Marlborough. I pulled up next to Harley and my daughter shouts out " Don't park our bike next to that thing, its a horrible Harley" . Of course the giant owner and girlfriend/wife were just behind us! and luckily they had a sense of humour. We exchanged/mumbled a few words along the usual lines of horses for courses/life boring if we all liked the same thing etc. and parted ways.
It doesn't always stop when they grow up either! Some older folk come out with some brilliant ones! When I was a kid, my gran was looking after us whilst my folks were away and came out with 2 good ones. Firstly she wouldn't wind the electric clock, and then whilst watching golf said " why is he taking so long? It looks like a straight putt to me"
