Does anybody have any pictures of a US50 or US30 on the back of a Panigale? I'm looking to pick up some gear for touring but trying to get an idea of how much space it takes up on the bike. Not sure if better to go for a US50 or a US40 and maybe an R15 rucksack. Thanks
I've got 20, 10 and 5's but haven't yet fitted them to the panigale. Would also be interested in pics
I use a 20 daily. Fits really neatly using a Kriega panigale fixing kit. Totally waterproof, looks good ( relatively speaking IMO) on the bike. Better with a pillion seat than a cowl ( unless well protected or you like the rustic scratched to sh*t look). Haven't got any pics to hand. I've prepared the following for you. (Genuinely not being arsey, just trying to help) Let me google that for you Cheers.
Pass me a needle and thread, my sides are splitting James had an 848 but couldn't deal with being outdone so bought the white one 6 months after me
I kind of expected that but there's quite a few photos of the 20 but none of the 30 on a panigale. The 20 looks about right but wondered how much bigger the 30 was on the back of the bike. Might just go with a 20+10+10 and a 15 rucksack. That should cover me for 3 weeks round Europe so long as I can get to a washing machine from time to time. Don't want to carry too much extra weight or I might as well just take a Harley.
I think that is the way forward pal, when my 20 is super full I can sometimes feel it digging in my arse/lower back so I can only assume the problem would be worse with a 30. It's truly amazing how much you can pack in these things.
Yes , sort of, but I rarely do. The fitting kit already 'lifts' the seat slightly so if you try to tuck it in this is made a little worse. If you are adamant you want to , it's better to tuck in the two furthest from the tail & slightly loosen the ones nearest the tail and slide them round 180 degrees. Not sure if that makes any sense? ( Reading it back it doesn't to me... Bit too flat pack furniture-esque to make any sense)
I have a US20 and 2 x US10's. I've never used the 10's as the 20 is more than good enough for a long weekend.
