So bit of advice here needed. There seems to be no ladies MC gloves ir am I just looking at manly kind off shops? Looking for a hort type of glove this style: S - Alpinestars SMX Prowler Motorcycle Black Air Gloves | eBay Prefferably mix of leather and textile. Frankly I sue those Alpinestars and am happy for her to use them just except those and buffalo full leather units everything else looks butch and does not even have option for small. Viv what size gloves you are wearing and how big is your hand over erm average size Melon Same for jackets seems to be not much choice, especially in leather or am I looking wrong.
The only item of lady specific clothing I have are my boots. And these are exactly same as blokes to look at just don't come up shin so far Ladies specific stuff is IMHO a pile of pink flowery shite My gloves are men's rukka medium
I noticed that mostly designation "Lady" is attached to the same stuff blokes wear just in pink. Size 9 is it Medium or Small Char, did you experiment on that?
You just need to try on I guess - I don't know what size my hands are but even same size gloves different makes feel different -
There is an Alpinestars Stella range, some of which is pretty good. The Stella gloves were great that I bought off eBay a few years ago. You can get more joy out of German eBay for these sorts of things than English eBay, a lot of the time. There is more choice. Perhaps ze Germans like leder, ja?
agree about the pink stuff. Mine is predominantly female kit but black. I dislike intensely the girly stuff and have to search for relatively plain kit. I buy women's because I can't get comfortable in mens, I spent years wearing it because there was nothing for women but there is always spare fabric, especially around the waist. I get my gloves from GetGeared, they stock Held, my summer gloves are ladies small and my winter ones are a small mens. The site shows you how to measure your hand for sizing.
Purchased a pair for the girlfriend from Lidl on Saturday. Leather, waterproof, windproof, thinsulate, Kevlar stitching £16.99. They are a medium, seem good quality to be honest. Noticed they were stacked out with the £39.99 helmets.
I have had disasters buying gloves online, none seemed to fit even after follow advice on how to measure my hands. I'd rather pay a bit more and actually try them on in store and compare a couple of pairs.
