  1. FP2 the kid no 93 on it  first shot of the track,is dovi doing a better job than rossi ?,Talk of crutchlow to Honda ,Great track I love it:upyeah:

  2. Hope your right . Expect that the Duc will fall back fast in final qualifying.

  3. There's something about Laguna Seca that always seems very frightening. The Corkscrew of course, but it always looks a lot nastier to come off in a pile of desert dirt than it does in a nice green field like Donnington. There's something forbidding about the place.

  4. I expect rossi to be right up there today.
marquez is going to bin it - bautista and bradle to fade and pedrosa to finish well with lorenzo 5th

  5. marquez,bradl,rossi

  6. Can't see Bradl staying the distance, and Marquez is due a mistake. Could be the Rossi/Crutchlow show, with Jorge bringing up the rear.

  7. Marquez, Crutchlow, Rossi.

  8. The corkscrew, as Carl Foggarty, whom I went to school with, said - it's only a chicane on a hill !

  9. Marquez will either bin it or win. We have been predicting his season to be a crash fest for months, and it hasn't happened. I have no reason to think this weekend will be any different. Rossi has too much race craft here for Bradl, I think.

I suspect that if anyone falls off it will be Crutchlow. I just get that feeling. Pedders and Lorenzo may not shine, but they will limit the damage, which is pretty much all they are expecting to do.

Bautista is the great unknown. What are his chances of producing a strike on the first lap? High.

Watching RdeP totally destroy yet another bike, I could feel sorry for the team owner, except that you don't have to have a crystal wall and your hair in a scarf to see that this is exactly how his season would be. All his others have been too. I have no clue why he is employed.

WSBK was so dull that I only saw half of it. I kept falling asleep.

  10. MM taking the crown here? and taking a big chunck op possible WChamp potential? If he does, he'll be godgiven talented and mature at 20 ... who's gonna stop him then... !

  11. Lorenzo's titles have been fought for, he's a very serious young man who has worked hard for what he's got. Even Stoner, a natural talent, took it all extremely seriously. Marquez just looks ultra talented to me, a lad who's thoroughly enjoying every lap without having to think too much about it, and I think he's being kind to the others, I think he can go even faster.

But he's still human, and still due a mishap.

  12. I really think that honda bike is head and shoulders above the yammy at this stage of the season.

I think the riders such as MM SB AB also benefit greatly from electronic aid predictability. I simply dont think that if this was 5 years ago they could step up to this class and perform as they do so quick...
they would spend more time on their arses then they have already

  13. What got me was how much more agile Bautista's second-string Honda looked against Rossi's full works Yamaha. He was able to tighten up every corner, which means he could get it upright and on the power sooner. Add Marquez into the equation and it's no wonder he's finding it easy.

Interestingly, it sounds like Bradl may not be keeping his seat for next year. Earmarked for Crutchlow, maybe..?

  14. Only the useless Brumie let me down

  15. Really wish the other two classes would race there. Moto3 through the Corkscrew would be worth seeing :upyeah:

  16. There can be no doubt that the Honda was definitely superior at this track. It's the first track where this seems unquestionable. Bautista would not normally be up Rossi's exhaust pipe. Yes, his lines, like those of Marquez, were noticeably tighter. Crutchlow for Bradl's bike next season? It looks a distinct possibility. Bradl will never be MotoGP champion. Crutchlow may be, though I believe that barring injury, we are in for a long spell of Marquez domination. He is quite simply the most talented bloke to come along since Rossi or Stoner.

  17. Loved the marquez pass on rossi , and the way they had a laugh about it in parc ferme , cant wait to get that photo up on my wall got the rossi pass on the moaner

  18. One wonders if Bautista has turned a corner in terms of development, or if the track just flattered him. Still reckon Cal could do some damage on that bike.

  19. Flattered him, although good to see he didnt just o for a lunge ;-)

Rossi seemed pretty happy with hisnthird and first Yam home, certainly seemed Honda ruled this track.

  20. Seems very much like Cal needs to be on a Honda of any sort next season.
