Once the lap timer is enabled in the menu, the lap timer is activated by operating the main beam flasher at the point on the track you want to be your lap start point. Subsequent use of the flasher at that point, stops at the time for that lap and starts the new lap. Pretty sure the 1260 records up to 15 laps. Andy
I've read the OM on the topic and you're confirming that the Lap Recording is a manual input. I was cautiously optimistic that the lap was GPS generated but I highly doubted it.
