A few of us going, I'll be there (Paddock Hill stand) and going Sat/Sun, I might even get there Friday for a bit. There are probably 4-6 of the Box Hill regulars likely there. I've been to a few rounds this year and find that supporting Ryuichi Kiyonari on the BMW, complete with the Buildbase hoodie gear now is the most fun in a stand full of Shakey fan boys.
I am currently trying to get a corporate hospitality ticket. I find that wearing normal attire to be the best option in a Kiyo/shakey fanoldboy stand. I despair sometimes at some of the dross that masquerades as attire that the motorcycling world wears. Its quite terrible at times. Dont get me started on hoodies...
I'll be wearing my 2014 Siverstone Moto GP fleece under a Ducati Corse (Dianese) fabric jacket if it's raining and supporting Kiyo as I have done for quite a few years now. Andy
I'm going in my mates Plastering van ! For the weekend so probably be dusty when we get there. Stopping in a hotel in Purfleet on Saturday nite. It's a long way back to the midlands for 1 day.
Surprised no-one has posted yet. Sad start to the day with Kyo high siding and breaking his collar bone during morning warm up. Wasn't at all surprised when he didn't make qualifying or the first race. Great to see Moto Rapido back in the game with Kuba Smerz and new sponsors. Spoke briefly with Kuba and the wrist is still very sore so not making qually 3 wasn't too much of a surprise and 14th was a good finish. A real feeling of déjà vu when Shakey chucked it down the road at Clearways. Kyo may make tomorrow so hopefully game on. Looking forward to tomorrow and hopefully may get to meet a few people. Have to admit if it is chucking it down again, I'll be spending most of the day in the Ducati hospitality suite with a fridge full of cold beer. Andy
