Le Mans Motogp 2022, Maybe Valencia...

Discussion in 'Racing & Bike Sport' started by J biker, Mar 6, 2022.

  1. Booked a hotel, no mean feat..
Tickets not yet available yet on motogp.com , but available here https://billetterie.gpfrancemoto.com/uk/cart

Any advice on where to purchase or if a grandstand seat is worthwhile? Not been to the circuit here, in fact not been to a GP since Silverstone (took bloody ages to get out) a few years back.

Might do the last GP of the year at Valencia too. Grandstand seats..if so where??

    Thanks in advance.:upyeah:

  2. Hello chap

I've not done a GP there but many 24h moto , we always grab the tribune 34 , it's over the pits but you get a great view of the start / finish and the podium .
From the stairs outside near the toilets the riders walk from their lounge bit to the podium and you can say hi or grab an autograph.

They do have their own toilets that stay clean as it's only for the stand .

    May help

  3. I had a grandstand ticket for Le Mans MotoGP - the Suzuki stand at T12 I think it was, in 2018

Not a very good seat for race day as too far away from the start finish and the bikes are moving away from you.

On race day I stood at the fence between T22 & T23 as you see the rides approach and slow for the "S" and then pass quite close as they slow for the corner before the straight.

  4. If you do Valencia it's all seated, you probably see 70-80% of the track from any seat there.

I'd avoid the last few corners, turn 1 to 2 is good or get one on the start/finish, you can look over the stand and watch them leaving the pits etc.

One of my faves if the title isn't decided.
