LED fog light / daytime running lights

  1. Hi everyone,

Has anybody fitted DRLs or auxiliary fog lights to their Multi? (other than the official Ducati ones)

I think they definitely improve visibility for other road users.

I would prefer not to spend £200 on the official ones but I don't want to have a dogs dinner of a thing on my bike.

There's loads of generic LED spots on ebay but I'm not sure about mounting options etc?

    thanks

  2. I looked at Vision X solstice etc, but by the time you sod about with mounts, wiring looms, and a switch the Performance Ducati ones come into their own, easy to fit, and plug n play so no cutting or crimping to do, £200 for the official ones sound a steal I paid £250

  3. I got quoted £300 for the official led f/lights :frown:

  4. Give snells a call and see if they can do them on a supply only basis for the same amount I got them for, worth a try and if your near to surrey ill help you fit them

  5. Ta satzoomer. Am running the Motech Hawk lights at the mo. Fitted by previous owner. On my 3rd set of filament bulbs (Bosch) for them and bought some LED jobbies to fit next. If that all fails - again then I'll seriously consider the Ducati ones. Had a look at the ones Tourtech do but you need a bloody Wonga loan for those!

  6. I have. Bought them from E Bay. I also fitted a FuzeBlock power supply unit and ran it all through a Skene IQ 170 controller. Took a day or two to fit but was worthwhile for peace of mind.

  7. Any pics?

  8. That's all I have. All wiring was loomed correctly and I made a Perspex panel to cover the fuseblock. I also added a cigarette lighter socket and a Hella socket in the boot, both ignition switched, so I can charge my phone on the go.

  9. Thanks. Neat install, there's so little space to play with too makes finding a good spot tricky.
