Seems a few folks in the US are fitting the H11 led bulbs for a fraction of the price of the 1199 kit and without the hassle of dismantling the bike to swap the headlight housing over. H11 LED headlights The ones on the above link would need a small cut out which I'm not prepared to do so am looking around and can find H11 LEDs without ballasts. Will post pics as soon as they arrive but if it works it could be a quick fix
Not yet, first bulbs were too big for the housing. Looked on another forum and they need to be slightly shorter so have ordered from the states.
