I tried LED bulbs before on a project bike with a tiny battery and they were dreadful, but thats a few years back and technology is moving quickly, with many cars having them now as standard. Give them a go and let us all know!!

Can you tell us which cars have LED bulbs fitted inside standard headlights? I think that you will find that the answer is that there aren't any. Some cars do have LED headlights as do some Panigales and other bikes, but they are a whole purpose built unit rather than just a bulb fitted to a standard light.
