Hello Finding it difficult to remove left hand crank case cover on Multistrada 1200 2012. Used the puller and it's now separated however on trying to remove once there is a gap of 1-2cm it hits a stopper. Obviously don't want to force it, it is clear all the way round I'm thinking it is either something inside catching or it's the gear lever spindle as that was a git to remove the lever. Any top tips greatly appreciated as there's nothing in the service manual about this happening but that's hardly surprising as it missed out a huge chunk of info for removing the air box.
Check the water pump. Plus theres a lot of magnetic force holding it in. A good wiggle usually shifts it.
