Hey all! Managed to get my hands on a Leo Vince Silencer - looks great, but no pipes :frown: I can't find any leo vince system pipes for my bike (04 749) so, plan is to cut the cat out of the front pipe, and bodge it!! Problem is, the pipes fall quite a bit short! (sorry for crap pic!!) So, I guess I am going to have to make some kind of pipe to link them, but will there be any issues with me doing this?? The silencer should have the correct length connecting pipes as the silencer itself sits further back than the oem one. There are other "factory" pipes that dont have the connecting pipes and they are designed to be used with their full systems. Sounds like you might have one of these? Any pictures of the exhaust? Oh and its much easier to fit if you remove the subframe first.
Here is the exhaust: I had the subframe on to see what I needed to work around to make a small pipe to connect them - Why does nothing ever just bolt on :tongue:
Sorry mate but the pic is showing the outlet and I need to see the inlet. I take it the e d ca just has holes in it? If so you have the end an from a full system and not a slip on.
Its ok - Yeah just holes so I would imagine it is from a full system, and while the plan is to find the rest of the system to fit my bike that seems to be the bit I am struggling with hence the plan to try and make it work with the standard pipes!
Ive only ever seen whole systems come up or proper end cans. I would sell it on and find another unless you go with the view that you might track one down eventually. Link pipes would look rubbish and would prob cost you half the amount of a proper slip on. Hope you find something.

Just seen this - wow I wonder how difficult it would be to have some similar pipes made? I have contacted Leo Vince but even they can't get the pipes

I saw these and got excited, but I believe they are just a decat pipe rather than the full system for this silencer Where at? What kind of cost around are you looking at?
