1299 Lever Guards

Discussion in 'Panigale' started by Noste500, May 17, 2021.

  1. Looking for recommendations for lever guards . Any to avoid ? Tia

  2. Do you want one to just tick the trackday box or does it need to look awesome too?

  3. This is what the R&G one looks like ony V2. I know all the panels are off etc, but hope it helps. Does the job and looks fairly decent

  5. Hopefully look good

  6. Bonamici. Pretty but amazing how much the price has gone up since they became compulsory. 56E9A314-38EF-49AB-A55F-88C0F337DAF5.png

  7. If to look good too then yeah need to spend quite a bit more. Cheap ones like R&G and GB Racing don't look bad, but they are primarily function over anything else. Either of the above suggestions good. I also like the bonamici one.

  8. I have both the DP version and one from Spider ( via Ben @codexmotorsports)
both look good and do the job, i prefer the Spider version though as its a little more robust and has a better side protection...

  10. The plastic r&g ones are wank

  11. It's cheap, hasn't fallen off so far and I can still do trackdays. Only criteria I needed fulfilling. Personally don't think it's that bad.

  12. I just fitted the Evotech Performance guard. Very happy with it, as with all their parts.

  13. They flop about like a floppy cock though. No matter what you do to them.

can’t see it doing much in a contact situation, but I take your point

  14. Agree with the second point. It does feel solid when you push it, but me pushing vs bike contact at F knows what speed is completely different.
