I have too much time on my hands and wanted to get a fun video up on my new channel. Enjoy! or throw up due to motion sickness, the choice is yours. Ducati Dragon - YouTube
Thanks, I was looking for something a little different for my first upload. Its very time consuming choosing footage and learning the software.
What are you using to edit with? I've got a GoPro Hero 2 - but just realised another brand: gobandit - looks cool with all the gadgets built in to the Live version.
I have just bought a Zoom H2n microphone. It can be attached to the GP HD 3 and give an excellent sound. As this is my main focus on my channel, sound of the Ducatis with full terms and funny shite. (Not mobile phones car drivers etc) I thought I would get the sound right with some nice wind stoppers. From my technical part of my youtube channel. I use a GoPro HD 3 Black edition and sometimes use a GP 2. Film at 1080 30 or 60 fps Wide setting. I am using Protune. For the editing I am using a mixture Mac applications, Final Cut Pro, MPEG Streamclip, Audacity, iMovie, Motion and Premiere CC, not in that order. I am learning Final Cut Pro, MPEG Streamclip, Audacity and iMovie at the moment iMovie is the easiest, that is what this upload is from. The others will come when I know more. Im taking the files of the GP and converting them to Apple ProRes 422 (LT) .mov files in MPEG Streamclip. Importing and editing them for online. I have been reading a rule of thumb if you camera is under $15,000 then Apple ProRes 422 (LT) is your best space and quality setting. It is an excellent setting. There is so much here to learn. As for the go bandit, i have not seen that. I'll have a look.
I've put another quick teaser up. I didn't have much footage at work so had to use what was available. I have loads I'm putting into a hard drive to take in. Please subscribe. It's my new hobby. Been investing in a decent mic, have 2 Gopro HDs and will try and make it interesting.
Great idea. There are quite a few members who are very much into filming their bike rides. I have a Drfit HD Ghost (now smashed) but as I didn't have the mic with it, it suffered terrible wind noise. Ive got some footage, eight or so track sessions and three or four road sessions that I want to edit with some music and proper credits. Just trying to find the time/knowledge to find a use a decent video editor. Its annoying as my PC's graphics card doesn't support the new version of Microsoft Movie maker and the old one doesn't like MP4s
