just took my 1200 DVT pikes peak in for it's first annual service and various recalls. key replaced as it now has a reset button inside. they let me keep the old one, no idea why i wanted it but it bit me on the arse when i left. jumped on my bike and it wouldn't switch the ignition on. panicked for a moment then realised both keys were in the same pocket together, moved the keys and worked perfectly lol. The main thing for me though was the bluetooth multimedia and link app, both now work perfectly and are actually worth having. so for all the people complaining about them not working or dropping out, it's worth having a word with your dealer. considering all the bitching and moaning i did about seastarsuperbikes and ducati when i flukked up my hypermotard sp myself. they really do shine. the bike is now ready for my NC500 (and a bit) trip in 3 weeks!!
Took my bike in for the key recall, and it came out exactly the same, no reset button inside..? But they say they have done it..?
I was really pleased after my service. My Bluetooth now works a treat. The only thing I didn’t like about my service is that they oiled my chain, but they’re not mind readers and I forgot to ask them not to bother and my chain had just been cleaned, acf 50’d then wurth dry lubed and looked totally free from oil lol. My bad not theirs . They also tightened my givi pannier rack that I hadn’t loctited and a couple of the bolts were hanging out.
