London To Liverpool For Tt Avoiding Motorways

  1. Hi

    Does anyone have a good recommendation for getting to Liverpool docks avoiding motorways ?

    Bits of the A5 are good from memory so was thinking to do this plus the A41..

    We are on the 8pm ferry so will probably leave late morning

    Any tips really appreciated !

  2. Go to Wales. Turn right.
    That ought to fix it.

  5. Looking at google maps heading to Wales looks good, A49 then A5
