Gents, Come across one I haven't seen before, the left hand disc on my 900 has a loose button, took it off the wheel and the petal washer (right name?) on the button is missing, all the rest on both discs are fine. Any ideas if it's possible to get a replacment and where or best to leave to the pros? Did a bit of searching and came across Blackshadow, anyone used them? Lot cheaper than replacing a barely worn disc... Thanks Mike
Disc button replacement kits are available for most Brembo discs and you should be able to get one from your local dealer. They are a fiddly job but you should be able to do it yourself. Andy
I fitted some to my SS project: Great looking bits of kit and are quite thick. http://www.blackshadow-uk.co.uk/Ducati.html Yorkie
Thanks guys, trying to track down a replacment kit, otherwise I'll buy replacment buttons from Blackhorse and do the lot, £50 is much cheaper than buying new discs especially when they're barely worn...Mike
Update, no luck getting a kit from Brembo, the very nice lady at JHS sent them a pic of the disc I had mailed her and they dont recognise the disc(???), spoken to the helpful guy at Blackshadow and their replacement buttons are for 5-5.5mm discs i.e. no good for a 4mm thick disc like this. Had a close look at this and measured up, will be making a new button on the lathe retained by E clip as Blackshadow do. Will update when done and tested, if all good I will be able to do the same for others on this forum....Mike
