Very little information this time. Surely such a new aircraft must have loads of telemetry and such a short flight they must have a very good idea where it is.

The Java sea was warm, wet n salty, but shallow (as seas go). Others can fill in the details about the sky.
well thank you for that :Banghead:,, but we all ( I hope ) know that planes intentionally ( as I hope you appreciate ) fly in the sky, and that is where we need the details from..
But equally important would be the sea conditions, as that's where it is, when it's not in the sky (on that route).
Thunder storms and heavy rain. Pilot asked permission to fly over it, not normal in the tropics. Normally they pass down wind of it (left or right). Plane tracked for 5 minutes after last contact with pilot.
