Rich and Louigi Moto are going to be on ITV 4’s The Motorbike Show next week at 21.00. He’s a bit Marmite I know (not Rich, Henry Cole) but I do like his style of programmes.
Yep, watched it, Henry Cole riding ‘supposedly’ from Wooton Basset to Marlborough. The Louigi Moto article was shown in the previews for next week.
It reminds me of an incident packed journey to a scooter rally to Newquay. During the hurricane of 86 or was it 87? Two up on a frankenstein vespa with my best mate.
87. I was in Sierra Leone listening to the world service on my little ssb radio. Only way of getting live footie scores too back then…
Not a lot of people know that... The High Street is as wide as it is because there used to be a row of buildings down the middle, over market stalls known as The Shambles. The Great Fire of 1653 cleared out many of the older buildings leaving the wide High Street that we see and enjoy today.
Not really. Was more football casuals back then. Most bikers were helpful tbh. Only the fizzy boys were a pain. I class 125 2 strokes as fizzy boys too. Just the way it was. Oh and NF skinheads. Racist cunts. Not the proper skins, who you could identify easily enough and many were scooterists too. No, on the whole bikers were generally ok to us lot. Edit: I surprised the shit out of a load of tritons, BSA'a etc at a MAG rally from Upminster to Trafalger Sq on my Lammie. So if you got done over by a daft lad on a Lambretta GP TS1 225 which was tuned to an inch of its life, then I thank you for trying. Muahahah.
