Hi All, Been riding less than a year and already ordered my 4th Ducati, think it's safe to say I like Ducati's! By sheer fluke was at my local dealer on the 4th July at 9.30am, by 10am I'd ordered a 1299s Anniversario. I've had confirmation today, that I will definitely 100% be getting it even if they only manage to get 1 . Will be sad to see my 959 go as it's an awesome bike (other than the exhaust of course). Also have 996 Biposto with only 4000 miles racked up from new. It sits proudly on display much to the Mrs disgust...she's welcome to leave anytime she likes though . Been reading this forum for a while now and seem like a great bunch, so thought I'd finally sign up.
BTW, to answer your question, I've bought a few Ducatis in my time and the only ones that I don't still own were prised out of my hands (stolen :cry
We are a fantastic bunch The locals are crazy!! :Clown: Watch out for exige (nutter) :Angelic: And your in because your red
Bloody 'ell, you don't hang around do you! So what's the story, just realised that bikes are the future or mid-life crisis? Oh, and welcome...new to Ducati ownership myself. Bought a 1299S in April and gutted there was no mention of the Anniversario at the time or I would have been on it...:disappointed:
Started off last year when I thought it would be a good idea to get a 996 and just have it on display in the house. Two weeks of having the bike I decided I had to ride it, so off to do my DAS it was! Tried to sensible ish and started with a Monster 821 stripe, that last about five minutes before I couldn't resist the 959 and 4 months later I've just ordered the 1299s Anniversario...like I said I tried to be sensible ! So in short, yes it's a mid-life crisis lol. I wouldn't be too disappointed with your 1299s purchase, still an amazing bike and no doubt you'll soon be able to apply the same software upgrades anyway! As my Mrs said (who knows everything of course) it's only a pretty paint job :tearsofjoy::tearsofjoy:.
