Just got my 1200S DVT home today - had a briliant 2-hr ride home using some local twisties and really gelled with her. As I'm a shortarse, I dropped the seat to low setting - I'd already ordered a pillion seat spacer. Only issue is that the spacer came without rubber bungs. Watching the handy vid on youtube by that Scottish bloke, his 1260 spacer has rubbers on and on mine they appear to be the only thing holding the rider seat down. Can't see them listed as a seperate item on the parts site so at a bit of a loss. Any ideas please? Thanks.
I found this: https://www.bike-parts-ducati.com/ducati-motorcycle/assignment_spare_parts/8291E012A I can't see the rubber bungs in the picture but it states it is the original factory spacer, so should be complete. If you want to search the Ducati part number is 8291E012A It's only £8 so worth a try.
Hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes, that's the part I ordered but it looks on the CSML site pic like it should have the bungs included, which the part I received does not. Contacted the selling site but not heard back yet.
https://www.motorcyclespareparts.eu...KQ*MTcxMzUzMTMyNy4xLjEuMTcxMzUzMTM3NC4wLjAuMA Same listed here, no bungs. Seems you've already sorted, but I've got a spare seat spacer (I'm a lanky fuck, no need for it) which has bungs if needed.
