1200 DVT Lowering Bars

  1. My Multistrada gives me back ache between the shoulder blades. Has anyone successfully lowered the bars on a Multistrada without the bars hitting fairing? Or changed the bars for a lower type?

  2. I had a similar issue with my shoulders but I added bar risers. (Quite some time back)
    Problem solved.
Recently did 1300 miles in Europe, 350+Mile days. No issues.

  3. When I had a Multi I had this problem too. I felt that rotating the bars back a little would help but to get them where I liked them meant they hit the tank on full lock. The answer was to fit bar risers which allowed me to move them to a position that was comfortable for me.

  4. You could lower and then adjust the lock stops so they don’t foul. Less turning mine you…

  5. I have a pair of bar risers (20mm) I am just about to sell. I found them a big improvement but was still having some issues with an old shoulder injury. I fitted 25mm ones and it was a big improvement for me.
