Lucern To Zeebrugge

  1. Looking to end European tour With mates in Lucern then make way back to Zeebrugge for ferry any tips on route are nice place for stopover much appreciated.

  2. Luxembourg! Best quality tarmac I encountered in Europe, nice bendy roads through wooded hills. I stayed in Vianden - pretty little town with a castle.

Ypres was also a good 1 night stop in Belgium - not sure what time your ferry is. Again, pretty historic city centre, good WW1 museum, Menin Gate Last Post Ceremony, and the St Arnoldus beer cafe which has sampler selections of lovely Belgian beers.

  3. Thanks for prompt reply meeting up with mates at the Nurburg ring then finishing up at lucern at which point 2 of us heading back to Zeebrugge for 19.00 ferry back to hull and the rest back to France for tunnel

  4. I did this very route last year on the way to/ from Monaco. We went via the Black Forest. The B500 (Baden Baden to the north) is an exceptional road you REALLY shouldn’t miss. You really can’t go wrong in / around the Black Forest.

  5. Luzern to Zeebrugge is a long old way...

  6. Your right about 800km but will be having a least one stop over be a bit more fun I hope than the 6 hr slog from tunnel back to Manchester.think looking at planned route it’s going to be pretty full on anyway,
    Nurburg - Baden Baden
    Innsbruck via Slovenia pass
Nago - torbole and lake Garda
Lucern to Zeebrugge in 7 days upto yet on paper anyway

  7. If stopping at Baden Baden, Hotel Heiligenstein is very good if you want a quiet night and good value for money, but miles away from the centre if you want to go out. Easy run from here to any of the northern ports. Benefit is you will be taking in the B500.
